Newly engaged couple Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo shared another milestone in their life through their latest vlog.
There, they uploaded their overseas fertility and surrogacy trip.
According to them, their plan to have their first child together began three years ago when they decided to freeze the specimens needed for it.
Jennylyn admitted that during this time she felt like her body was not yet ready to carry another baby.
They tried the process twice, but failed both.
Their friends then suggested that they do it abroad.
Thus, during the first part of the pandemic, the couple took the opportunity to pursue their projects.
After a locked recording, Dennis flew to Dallas where he deposited his semen.
Later, Jennylyn went to Las Vegas for her fertility adventure.
There she maintained a healthy lifestyle. She also took the necessary medication.
Jennylyn explained that for three weeks she had to inject different types of medicine three times a day into her lower abdomen.
Fortunately, Dennis was there to show his support.
During their month-long vacation abroad, the Kapuso stars were able to harvest an excellent embryo.
So they started looking for the “perfect” surrogate mother who will carry their baby.
In fact, they were to sign the contract and have the implant done the last week of October.
However, they found out that they were able to get pregnant naturally, which is where the vlog ended.
A teaser for the upcoming vlog showed the couple sharing the news they’ve been waiting for with their loved ones.
Recall that a few days ago, Jennylyn and Dennis announced that they were finally going to get married and welcome a new member to their family.
